We are one round down, and nine to go in the 13th season of the CalSpeed Super Series, and this years campaign starts off with a recognizable face at the sharp end…
The series will now take to the Grande layout for its one and only time this season, and unlike Sam Hunt and Sportivo, this track has seen a different winner every year since the 2019 track adjustment.
But the real story this weekend may not be the track, or the 36 people making their first start of the year, but instead probably the biggest storyline of the round, and that is the large number of drivers ABSENT from round #2. The overall and each of the sub-categories have notable names off of the entry list, something we’ll cover as we dive into this months preview…
