Last month’s season opener for the 2020 Super Series season saw Diego Morales put together a near-perfect day en route to the win, missing only the pole position in his dominant performance on the day. He had to fend off a quartet of drivers behind him to do it too, with TJ Blackledge and Sean Fite joining him on the podium for round #1.
The Series stays in the counterclockwise direction for round #2, but will be picking up the speed a bit, as we go to the Grande layout; the fastest and longest of the reverse direction tracks. This place is a driver favorite, with plenty of places to pass, and enough nuances to reward those with the best kart control.
Today we’ll take a look at who had solid outings in the season opener last month, as well as shine a light on who may break out in round #2, or possibly fly under the radar in their respective categories…
