For Sprint Series Round #4, we’ll be taking to the Classico Counter Clockwise configuration, last run at round #7 last year, which was win #2 on the season for Donnie Clarke at the time.
However, throwing it back to last month and the driver gracing the event pic, Leo Ovtcharov scored his maiden CalSpeed win in round #3, joined by sharp end regulars Vladimir Orlov and Evan Lawrence. It was a big one for Orlov, who last visited the podium in 2015 when he scored his maiden win, while Evan Lawrence claimed his second podium of the season and another big points day.
We have been going in the forward direction for 3 months now, so it will be interesting to see who carries momentum the other way, and perhaps who has an affinity for a particular direction…
