This weekend’s Sprint Series Round 6 marks the first event on the ‘Make-Up Weekend’, with the event taking place on the Grande layout for the second time this season.
Earlier this month we saw a familiar face on top of the podium, as 2R driver Ayrton DeMoss went 2 for 2 in his attempts this season, joined on the podium by point leader Diego Alvarado, and fellow title contender Matt Steele.
This time around we have another 2R in the field, but the bigger story will be how the championship looks after this event. With the absence of the point leader this round, things could very well tighten up at the sharp end, and it will be interesting to see who comes out on top this weekend.
As I said, we’re back on the Grande layout, so lets jump right into a closer look at the longest track at CalSpeed…
