The season opener for the IronMan Series took to the Sportivo layout last month, a track that seems to have a set of specialists attached to it. When the checkers fell it was a familiar face on the top step of the podium, as Alyssa Yauney took down her second win and 4th podium in as many starts on the configuration, joined by Ayrton Demoss and Sean Fite in 2nd and 3rd respectively, the pair adding another podium to their tally on the Sportivo course.
We move on now to the Grande layout, albeit still in the forward direction, and a track that has been a bit more wide open in its results, and it will welcome all of the usual suspects for round #2.
18 of the top 20 in points return to do battle on Grande, and we’ll not only take a look at the the top 10, but the stage that battle will take place on, as well as a wildcard driver known to make some round #2 noise…
