2014 CALSPEED ARRIVE AND DRIVE RACING SCHEDULE ANNOUNCED

As the 2013 racing season winds down and eyes start to turn towards next year’s racing calendar,  CalSpeed Karting is proud to offer a full slate of racing programs tailored to the Southern California racing community. Our menu of programs aim to continue delivering the most compeitive and professional arrive and drive karting experience around, and have been designed by our team of experts boasting over 30 years of industry experience. Check out the tentative 2014 CalSpeed arrive and drive racing schedule below for series & event details!

2014 Super Series:

The Super Series is slated to return to CalSpeed for the 2014 Season featuring a 12 race schedule, of which every driver’s 10 best scores will count.  No major changes are expected to be made to the program, which generally runs on the first Saturday of every month and features weight ballasted competition at 200lbs minimum, as well as the scoring of several sub-championships including Rookie, Masters, Heavy, and the all-new Junior category.  The 2014 season kicks off just into the new year on January 4^th, 2013.

2014 Ironman Series:

The Ironman Series, which saw a successful season running just after our Saturday morning clinics in 2013, will see an increased spotlight as the 2014 edition will be expanded to run 8 rounds, of which the best 7 scores will count for each driver.  The schedule, split into a four race ‘winter / spring’ portion, as well as a four race ‘summer / fall’ portion, have been strategically scheduled to avoid conflict with other major events on the calendar such as the Sport Kart Grand Nationals, as well as the annual Machismo 12 Hour enduro.  In addition, several exciting format changes are being considered for the new season, which are yet to be confirmed.

Official Practice – Jun 19^th
Racing Event – June 20^th, 21^st, 22^nd

2014 Machismo 12 Hour Enduro:

Team Practice / Qualifying – Nov 21^st
12 Hour Endurance Race – Nov 22^nd
